Sculpture that activates unseen spaces

Lee Running creates sculpture grounded in direct observation and contact with the natural world. Working in iron, enamel, glass, paper, and bone, she explores American wildness, overlooked spaces, and the boundary between human infrastructure and natural systems.

A former Arts/Industry Foundry Resident at Kohler Co., Lee has created permanent installations for The Omaha Central Library, the STEM Trail at the University of Nebraska Omaha, and the Bernheim Arboretum and Research Forest in Kentucky.
